Try your hand at a simple, fun, printing method using colorful acrylic paints on paper to make holiday cards, paper, and decor! Create and take home your own work of art.
Monotype printmaking is a great way to ease into a new technique or take your art to a new level. Printmaker Catherine Sollman brings her ideas and energy to help students create beautiful unique artworks for the holidays. All supplies provided. Suitable for ages 12+ (kids must be accompanied by an adult)
Catherine Sollman is a printmaker with over 20 years of experience who has taught privately as well as in the high school setting. She is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Having continued her studies at Anchor Graphics, Spudnik Press, and Frogman’s Print Workshop among others, she works out of her home studio, focusing on monotype and relief.
