Since 2011, the MBACD has reinvigorated the Lake Street corridor. If you’ve enjoyed the Farmers Market, First Fridays on Lake Street, or any of the events at the Marshall J. Gardner Center for the Arts, you have benefited from our volunteer efforts.

While grants from various organizations help us sustain our programming, it is nearly impossible to find grant money to cover utilities, building repairs, and supplies.
